OB Space [NEMO]位于Festival Observatorio的开放广场上，四周环绕着灌木丛和自然环境的声音。它是一个用于冥想和休闲的实验性节点。这个充气的半透明胶囊凭借其有机而轻盈的外观，宛如一只学会在阳光下生存的科技生物。OB Space [NEMO]与RadioScopio（为节日项目设计的广播项目）紧密结合，共同创造了一个围绕它的柔软而临时的建筑空间。它不仅是一个封闭的雕塑性作品，而是一种场景或建成的氛围。其外壳由反射性鳞片组成，保护其中的居民免受烈日环境的热影响，并创造了一个适宜而清爽的“微气候”。它不是吸收热量，而是缓解热量。它的居家特质减少了温室效应，提供了一种环保、紧凑且便于携带的娱乐选项。
OB Space [NEMO] is situated at the open esplanade of Festival Observatorio, among bushwood and natural ambient sounds. It is an experimental node for mediation and leisure. This pneumatic and translucent capsule emerges through its organic and lightweight appearance, as a technological creature that has learnt to survive under the sunlight. OB Space [NEMO] goes hand in hand with RadioScopio (the radio project for the festival), creating a soft and temporal architectural space around it, not as a closed sculptural piece, but as a situation or a built atmosphere. Its envelope consists of reflective scales that protect those who inhabit it from the thermal impact of the blazing summer environment, and creates a suitable and fresh ‘microclimate’. Instead of absorbing the heat, it mitigates it. Its domestic condition reduces the greenhouse effect and offers an eco-friendly, small and portable entertainment option.

In contrast to permanent architectural designs, OB Space [NEMO] is not tied down. It can move, be folded up small or disappear. Its nomad condition invites us to reconsider the importance of architecture in contexts such as climate emergencies, celebrations or collective care. As a living being designed for survival, OB Space [NEMO] settles on the fringes of the urban to activate the willingness to be together—to share sounds, shade, water or conversation.

It is an architecture that does not impose itself; it adapts to the environment and invites others, allowing a brief interaction between bodies, radio waves and natural elements. Its interior—filled with air and protected by the scales—creates a welcoming atmosphere. People lie down, rest, talk or listen to the radio, while the wind moves the scales, casting a changing landscape.

The project comes up with a critical and poetic perspective on contemporary domesticity: a way to be in contact with the world, to generate minimal impact, to put up resistance to heat, excesses and speed. OB Space [NEMO] is also not tied to functionality; it is a living room, a capsule, a refuge, a place for listening. It is an architecture designed to embrace transitions.

The strategies that make it possible are:
-Use of reflective and lightweight materials that actively engage with the solar conditions and passively reduce energy consumption.
-Demountable and transportable, it can be relocated across various landscapes.
-Pneumatic architecture that minimizes ground impact and allows for easier assembly without machinery.
-Environmental activation through its luminous, performative and open presence.
-A conceptual proposal for a hybrid architectural vision: halfway between the natural and the artificial, between shelter and stage.

OB Space [NEMO] makes no claim to remain or to endure over time: its purpose is to create moments of rest and floating sounds. Technology turns into an ally in a world that can no longer put up with massive architecture. Architecture mirrors fish: it moves, reflects, survives, adapts, disappears. OB Space [NEMO] serves as a capsule for meeting and refuge, envisioning possible futures. A space to breathe. A space to listen.
