The shifting path of the sun across the seasons, the movement of rice and grasses in the wind, or the ripples forming on the water of the rice fields in the rain—these ordinary scenes hold quiet beauty. Creating opportunities to notice such beauty, we felt, was the most appropriate role for the new office of a company deeply connected to the land and to civil engineering.
