The Round Whitehorse文化中心，澳大利亚 / BKK Architects
由 CityLab 与 Whitehorse 市议会主导了一项公开设计竞赛，以遴选该中心及市民文化片区的最终设计团队。KTA 与 BKK Architects 携手景观建筑事务所 Aspect Studios，最终中选，负责 Whitehorse 文化与表演艺术中心的改造。The Round 实现了市议会提出的艺术与文化愿景，即“通过艺术、文化与遗产，打造一个充满活力、多元且积极参与的创意社区”。
A public design competition process was led by CityLab and Whitehorse City Council to select the winning design team for the centre and civic precinct. KTA and BKK Architects, together with landscape architect practice Aspect Studios, were selected for the redevelopment of Whitehorse cultural and performing arts centre. The Round has delivered on Council’s arts and cultural vision ‘to be a creative community that is vibrant, diverse and engaged through our arts, culture and heritage’.

这座高度可达、灵活且富有当代性的中心包括：一座 600 座礼堂、一座 200 座工作室剧场、一间多功能排练／舞蹈工作室、一间多功能活动室、为社区节庆季提升功能的露天音乐台（soundshell），以及一座多层停车场。此次改造提升了原有设施及配套条件，并完善了整个片区的通达性与基础设施，包括与邻近的 Nunawading 警察局、Nunawading 图书馆、Whitehorse 市民中心及 Walker Park 体育片区之间的连接。
The highly accessible, flexible and contemporary centre comprises: 600-seat auditorium, 200-seat studio theatre, multipurpose rehearsal/dance studio, multipurpose function room, improved soundshell capability for community festival season, and a multi-deck car park. The redevelopment improves on existing facilities and amenity, and includes access and infrastructure of the precinct including links to neighbouring Nunawading Police Station, Nunawading Library, Whitehorse Civic Centre and Walker Park sports precinct.

概念设计重新审视了郊区表演艺术中心这一类型，并思考其影响如何超越内部演出空间向外延伸；建筑形态被设计为公共空间与更广阔景观不可分割的一部分。
The concept design reexamines the suburban performing arts centre and its impact extending beyond the internal performance spaces; the form is designed to be an integral part of the public realm and broader landscape.
