Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Los Angeles/Indoor

A redesign for the cabana rooms at the legendary hotel, home to Hockney’s Bigger Splash swimming pool. The aim was to create a range of different suites that each felt decadent and fun in their own way. A rich material palette, robust furniture and low lighting provide a playful atmosphere that feel glamorous; stage sets for guests to play out their own Hollywood dramas.

“The hotel is known for being a backdrop for scandal. We wanted guests to step out of their skin and feel at ease to act out their innermost fantasies.”——JOYCE WANG
