北京市市政工程设计研究总院有限公司（以下简称“北京市政总院”）创建于1955年，2013年完成转企改制，2014年对北京市勘察设计研究院实施重组，2016年与北京控股集团有限公司合并重组，2017年投资入股香港上市公司思城控股有限公司，进入国际资本市场，旗下拥有12家全资及控股企业，6家主要参股企业。

Beijing Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beijing Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute") was founded in 1955.
